Matt Rife was born on November 22, 1990, in Columbus, Ohio. Rife’s big break came in 2019 when he was cast as the voice of Speckle, a free-spirited messenger owl, in the Netflix animated series “Tuca & Bertie.” His performance was widely praised, and his comedic talents shone through in the quirky and offbeat show.

Building on this success, Rife released his first stand-up special, “Matt Rife: Idiocracy,” on Netflix in 2021. The hour-long special showcased his observational humor and ability to find hilarity in everyday situations, solidifying his status as a rising star in the comedy world.
